A Glimpse into the World of Renae Geddes...
At a young age, she fell in love with the works of Van Gogh and Monet. Years later while studying, her influence came from the Bauhaus movement and abstract expressionism. Today, intertwining the two, Renae Geddes is renowned for her broken down subjects, creating a unique modern textural abstract pop-art style.
Favoring the use of oil paints, Renae has a fascination for gilding with 24K gold leaf and diamonds. A true believer in living in the moment, her love of meditation and poetry heavily influences her work with an underlying message of love.
"Life is not about searching for who you are, but finding love in the stillness of your own company. The pinnacle is doing what you have found to create the most light in you, as this is your life. I have found this, therefore I am." Renae Geddes.
Now residing in Melbourne Renae has seen her success go from strength to strength with her work held in private collections in Australia, New Zealand, England and France.
Park Hyatt Melbourne are pleased to partner with Renae Geddes, bringing to life The Art of Afternoon Tea.
